Meet The Team

D&T Videography was founded as a partnership in 2014 following several years filming and producing material for equestrian events. Our passion for filmwork has grown over the years both behind the camera, and in front of an editing and production suite, and have become one of the leading suppliers in the wedding and hospitality industry in Hampshire.

We are a small family run business with Tony & Denise Welch the helm and more recently, the addition of Production Assistant Nathan Scullard, who brings with him a wealth of experience in film production as well as social media brand management.

We are a small, family run business based in Southampton, founded in 2014 by myself Tony, and my wife Denise Welch.

Cutting our teeth in commercial filming, with the coverage of equestrian events, we grew our portfolio and very quickly found a huge demand for our services in the wedding industry. This is an area of our work that certainly tests our filming and editing skills with fast moving, ever changing environments, and the fact that we have become a recommended supplier at many of the leading venues in Hampshire, is testament to the quality of work we produce.

Whilst we love the wedding industry, Denise and I felt that our skills could also be applied to commercial commercial film making. We enjoyed our involvement with schools, right through to producing promotional commercials for small local businesses.

So what about us? Well, whilst I have a love of film making, I am also a self confessed Star Wars geek, and enjoy time with my 2 Hungarian Vizsla’s Logan and Kylo. A career in the police force certainly helped me with planning and attention to detail that is required when creating a film for our clients.

Denise is not only an amazing wife but the best partner I could ask for with our business. Having a background in care, Denise brings a level headed approach to any difficult project that we are tasked with. When not filming, its on with the boots to enjoy some horse riding and puppy play.

Nathan Scullard joined us in 2021 as Production Assistant, and has brought some excellent skills in film making and and online social media marketing.

In his spare time, Nathan enjoys his own creative film making interests as an Urban Explorer, with his own very successful Youtube channel.

Nathan’s experience with NLE software and content creation make him a great addition to the team.
